Sue Rankin

Hi, my name is Sue and I believe that a commercial banking relationship should be a benefit to both parties and that the Bank should be a partner in helping businesses achieve their goals. I earned my BSBA in Finance at Central Michigan and went to work in banking directly after graduation. I joined United in 2016, but I have over 33 years of experience in the banking industry. I work with many different types of clients, but my client focus has been in the Medical/Dental and the Professional Service industries. My greatest achievements have been seeing the clients I’ve worked with over the years, grow and become more profitable.

During my free time I enjoy gardening, reading, spending time with my family and attending my daughter’s Equestrian shows. My idea of the perfect day is a day spent on the beach reading. I am committed to giving back to my community and have volunteered my time and expertise to several non-profit organizations. Today, I am a Board Member on the West Michigan Dental Foundation Board, serving as Chair for the Community Grants Committee, Investment Committee and a member of the Tuition Grant Committee. Additionally, it is my great honor to participate as a Concept Paper Reviewer for Michigan Women Forward’s annual Woman Up and Pitch Business Plan and Pitch Competition.
